Why do designs as vector and not pixels?
Logos and technical images often require vector based images.
A vector graphic is artwork made up of points, lines, and curves that are based upon mathematical equations, rather than pixels. A vector is great for logos as it can be blown up to any size without becoming pixelated or fuzzy because it does not contain any pixels. If a design needs to be etched or screen printed it will be necessary to have it produced as mathematical lines so that a computer can fire a laser or control a embroidery machine to create a logo on a baseball cap as an example.
The generation of vector images require a separate skill set from pixel based programs like Photoshop or Affinity Photo.
